Getting ready for Christmas...
I hope that everyone is ready for Christmas and ready to spend time with family...what a wonderful time to do that! We have been doing lots of Christmasy things over here in Bellevue and it helps that we have received lots of snow! I think we have at least two feet now...more on the way... A few weeks ago we went to the Christmas Parade in Hailey with Grandma and Grandpa Gough, my brother, sister-in-law and little nephew Caleb. It was pretty neat to see all the beautifully lit up floats going down main street. Then we all went to the Ellsworth Inn afterwards for some hot caramel apple cider and hot chocolate...yummy! It was a lot of fun and the girls had a wonderful time! Also we have had the twelve days of Christmas from mom and dad Barney to keep us all excited for Christmas morning(especially Ali and Myah). We have really enjoyed all the wonderful gifts that we have opened. They make our house feel more Christmasy and full of family. We especially enjoyed the letters in the mailbox...that was by far the best gift. So thank you Mom and Dad! Tonight is Christmas Eve and we will be making lots of goodies today. Tonight, the entire Gough family will be at our house to eat yummy food, play games, and open a few presents. We look forward to spending time with them. Even though we live so close to them...we are all so busy it is great to get together when we can. We are very, very excited to go to Grandma and Grandpa Barney's house for the new year! We can't wait to see everyone and to spend time with everyone! The girls are so excited to see their cousins, the hot tub(of course), but most of all their Grandma and Grandpa Barney! We wish everyone a very Merry Christmas, and happiness in the new year! We will see you Barneys soon!

A Fun Visit!
So, we also had a lovely visit with DeEtte(Mom) and Brittany and Colby this last weekend. It started very eventfully with Mom asleep on the couch (she had the stomach flu) while Colby, Brittany, Myah, Ali and I all played Sorry and Clue. Then we ordered the best pizza ever from South Valley Pizza, and watched the Polar Express. It is fun to watch movies at our house now since Eric (the electronic guru) installed surround sound speakers in the wall. Ask Colby...we both kept getting freaked out by the noise in the walls from the football game on T.V. last time she visited! It definitely made us giggle! Anyways, the next day Mom was feeling better so we cooked a delicious turkey dinner and all ate together. It was a fun time for all and we hope they come back soon! (I told them to stow me in their siutcase to go on the cruise...but I don't think it worked!)

Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree!
Well...this is our first blog and I am still trying to figure out how exactly this works, as I am not the most computer saavy person in the world! So yesterday we went to cut down our Christmas tree as we do every year and it was a lot of fun! First we drove to my sisters house in Fairfield and had hot chocolate, and then we set out on our adventure with Grammy Mur, Aunt Chelsey, and Uncle Tim. We hiked around the mountains over by Soldier Mountain for about three hours before we finally found our perfect tree. The girls were quite the troopers, but were tired on the ride home! The girls were so excited to decorate it that they couldn't wait...not even long enough for daddy to take a nap! It was a fun day and our house is very Christmas-y!
